The adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District was called to order by President Knauft at 7:35 p.m.
Directors Knauft, Lindow, Clodt and Korn were present. Director Cromwell
arrived at 7:40 p.m.
President Knauft explained that the purpose of this meeting was to acquaint
the new Citizens Advisory Committee with the water picture as a whole and
specifically with this area and to meet the Board of Directors and their
wives and the staff of the District.
President Knauft welcomed the guests and the Citizens Advisory Committee
members and explained that this was not an organization meeting but as stated
above more of a get acquainted meeting for Board, Staff and Committee. He
thanked them for responding to the invitation with such a good turn out and
then he introduced Jim Krieger and Bob Williams from Metropolitan Water
District.
Jim Krieger and Bob Williams gave a presentation concerning the Metropolitan
Water District and its water supply. A short film was also shown which il-
lustrated the facilities as explained by Mr. Krieger and Mr. Williams.
Refreshments were served at intermission.
The meeting reconvened and President Knauft announced that the next meeting
of the CAC would be on April 29th at 7:30 p.m. at the District offices. This
meeting will be for the formal organization of the Committee and the election
of officers.
Moved by Director Lindow seconded by Director Clodt to adjourn to 8:30 a.m. on
April 1, 1982. Meeting adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
