The adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County
Water District was called to order by President Knauft at 7:10 p.m. in the offices
of the District on Plumosa Drive.
Directors present, Roy Knauf t, Howard Lindow, Fred Clodt, Art Korn and Whit Cromwell.
Also present Ralph Shook general manager, Jean Mathews secretary, Bill Robertson
project manager, Chuck Hobbs consultant and Art Kidman attorney.
Chuck Hobbs explained the composition of the letter to the District customers
and also recommended the consideration of a better public relations program.
The Board reviewed the proposed draft of the letter to be mailed regarding the
development in the east and its relation to the parent district. The Board members
unanimously agreed that it was a good letter and no changes were suggested.
Moved by Director Korn seconded by Director Cromwell approving the above letter
and the mailing to the entire district customers, motion carried unanimously.
The meeting of the Ad Hoc committee is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Friday October
30th. Additional preparation may be needed, Assemblyman John Lewis has been
invited to the meeting.
Moved by Director Cromwell seconded by Director Clodt to adjourn to October 30
at 2:00 p.m., motion carried.

The a(journed regular meeting of the Board of Directors was adjourned by the
secretary of the District for lack of a quorum at 2:10 p.m.
