The adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water
District was called to order by President Knauft at 7:00 p.m. Directors present
and answering the roll: Roy Knauft, Fred Clodt, Art Korn and Whit Cromwell.
Director Lindow absent. Also present, Ralph Shook general manager and assistant
secretary and Bill Robertson project manager and Attorney Art Kidman.
Director Korn reported on the special committee meetings with MWDOC of January
28 and February 4 concerning the delivery of water to YLCWD by June 1,1980
through the Diemer Intertie. MWDOC is now indicating that they may not be
able to make delivery through the Diemer Intertie by the promised date of June 1
1980. MWDOC is exploring alternate methods to make interim deliveries. Dis-
cussion at length. Attorney Kidman to prepare a response to Russ Beherns
request of February 5th. Nexf committee meeting scheduled for February 11.
Art Kidman and Bill Robertson left the meeting at 8:20 p.m.
District memberships were reviewed and discussed. No action taken.
Conference attendance and costs were reviewed and discussed. The General Manager
was requested to draft goals and a budget guideline recommendations to be further
reviewed by the Board.
