October 30, 1980
The adjourned workshop meeting of the Board of Di-rectors was called
to order by President Knauft at 7:30 p.m., October 30, 1980 in the
office of the District, 4622 Plumosa Dr.. Directors present: Roy
Knauft, Howard Lindow, Fred Clodt, Art Korn and Whit Cromwell. Also
present, Ralph Shook general manager and assistant secretary, and Ken
Witt, Director of the Minicipal Water District of Orange County. Larry
Kraemer, Director of Orange County Water District arrived at 8:15 p.m..
Moved by Director Korn and seconded by Director Clodt to approve the
minutes of October 2, 1980. Motion unanimously carried.
Moved by Director Korn and seconded by Director Clodt to approve the
minutes of October 16, 1980 as presented. Motion carried with Director
Cromwell abstaining.
The adjourned meeting was scheduled as a workshop session to informally
discuss items of interest and conern of the Directors. Ken Witt discussed
the Diemer Intertie construction and various MWDOC activities at some
length. Larry Kraemer discussed OCWD activities and annexation policies.
Ken Witt and Larry Kraemer left the meeting at 9:30 p.m..
The Directors reviewed, at some length, the List of Concerns. A future
workshop to be set for early January to review the public information
program. No formal action taken on any items.
Moved by Director Lindow and seconded by Director Cromwell to adjourn
at 11:15 p.m.. Motion unanimously carried.
