April 15, 1975
The adjourned special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba
Linda County Water District was called to order by Vice President
Clodt at 8:00 a.m. in the offices of the District.
Directors present and answering the roll call: Fred Clodt, Merwin
Wagner, Roy Knauft and Howard Lindow. Also present Ralph Shook
general manager and Jean Mathews, secretary.
The purpose of this adjourned special meeting is to review the
resume received from persons interested in the vacancy caused by
the death of Director Rex Hastings.
Letters were mailed to the five interested persons and four answers
were received from four plus one from Mr. Dieterle who had noticed
the posting in the Post Office.
Those persons being considered for the office of Director are Art
Korn, Bill Dieterle, Norman Kam.in_, Darrel Dalton, Don Foley and.
Don Hastings.
General Manager read the Government Code for Special District 1780
which states that the newly appointed director shall serve until the
expiration of the term of office of the Director whose position he
is filling or until the next election whichever occurs first.
Board went into executive session at 8:15 a.m.
Board reconvened at 9:00 a.m.
Moved by Director Lindow seconded by Director Wagner to adjourn to
8:30 a.m. April 17, 1975. Motion carried unanimously.
