The adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District was called to order by President McGuire at
9:00 A.M. in the District offices at 4622 Plumosa Drive.
The purpose of this adjourned meeting was a joint meeting with the
City Planning Commission of the City of Yorba Linda.
Assistant Secretary Ralph Shook called the roll: Directors present
McGuire, Hastings, Clodt, Wagner and Knauft.
General Manager Ralph Shook and Water Superintendent Pete Royere
also present.
Members of the Planning Commission were introduced, Mr. Groot, Mr.
Launer and Mr. Fried.
Ralph McGuire gave a brief introduction and short history of the
District.
General Manager and Assistant Secretary Ralph C. Shook explained
what a special district was and gave an explanation of the area
covered with the district boundaries, how a water and sewer application
were processed., etc. Discussion - with questions answered by the
District Directors and staff.
At 10:00 the Board recessed and the entire group took a tour of the
District facilities and returned to the District office at 12:30.
Moved by Director Clodt seconded by Director Hastings that meeting
adjourn at 12:30 p.m.
