April 20, 1972
The adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors was called to
order at 8:30 a.m. in theoffices of the Yorba Linda County
Water District by Vice President Hastings.
Directors present and answering the roll call: Hastings, Clodt,
Wagner and Knauft. President McGuire absent. DuWayne Lidke of
James Montgomery Consulting Engineers and H. Rodger Howell of
Rutan and Tucker were also present.
Vice President Hastings turned the meeting over to General
Shook. Mr. Shook said the purpose of the meeting was to discuss
new type or methods of water billing and discuss the feasibility
of changing the billing of the sewer to the county tax office.
General Manager reported on a meeting with Gil Kraemer, Lew
Schmid, Jeff Millet and DuWayne Lidke on Monday the 17th regard-
ing the temporary 12" line and the method of abandoning this
line when the new line is installed in Fairmont.
Rodger Nowell reported that condemnation proceedings were being
filed on the reservoir site on the Kraemer ranch and the District
should have possession the first of the week.
Ralph Shook reported that Larry Sutton would be forwarding copies
of his Appraisal Report on the Olinda Street property.
Moved by Director Hastings seconded by Director Knauft that the
meeting adjourn to a committee of thw whole to discuss billing,
rate increases, sewer refunds and any other business that might
properly come before the committee. Motion carried unanimously.
