An adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba
Linda County Water District was called to order at 7:40 p.m.
in the offices of the District by President Wagner.
This was a joint meeting with the Yorba Linda County Water
District and the Yorba Linda City Council.
Directors present and answering the roll: Mr. Wagner, Mr.
McGuire, Mr. C1od°t, Mr. Hastings and Mr. Knauft. Rodger
Howell attorney for the District and General Manager and
Assistant Secretary Ralph C. Shook were also present.
Those present from the City were: City /Administrator andCty
Clerk Darrel Dalton, Mayor Bill Ross, Councilmen Whit Cromwell,
Roland Bigonger and Burt Brooks.
Purpose of this joint meeting, to discuss the growth and
future of Yorba Linda.
Discussion at great length on the problems of service to the
areas northerly and easterly of Yorba Linda County Water
District. It was the general consent that if the City
designated the Yorba Linda County Water District as the water
agency for the City that the Yorba Linda County Water District
would provide water and sewer to areas annexed that lie north
and east of present district boundaries.
The matter was referred to staff for further study and a
report back at the next board meeting for any formal action.
Moved by Director Hastings, seconded by Director Knauft to
adjourn to January 22, 1969 at 8:30 a.m.
