An adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba
Linda County Water District was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
at Yorba Linda City Hall. Present and answering the roll call
were Directors Wagner, McGuire, Hastings, Clodt and Knauft.
Also present from the District were Attorney Howell, Sewer
Consultant Keith, Financial Consultant Bill Fieldman and
General Manager - Assistant Secretary Ralph Shook.
Also present were Mayor Ross aid Councilmen Warren, Cromwell,
Brooks and Bigonger, Planning Commission Chairman Clay and
Planning Commissioners Machado, Paul, Meador and Lindow, City
Administrator D. Dalton and Assistant Administrator R. Wykoff.
The purpose of the joint meeting with the Yorba Linda City
Council and Planning Commission was to discuss the progress
on the Districts sewer Master Plan. Mr. Keith briefly outlined
the summary and conclusions of the February 1969 Sewer Facilities
Report. Mr. Keith reviewed at length a "sample" assessment
spread to show how the cost of an assessment district would be
spread.
Mr. Howell briefly discussed the history of the sewer project
and the desire of the District to inform the public of the
details of the proposed program by either having a public
meeting or a letter mailed to the affected people.
Planning Chairman Clay indicated that an informal poll of the
Planning Commission indicated that they were in favor with the
program and urged the District to proceed.
The City Council unanimously concurred with the Planning Comm-
ission and recommended that the District proceed with the project
as outlined.
Meeting adjourned 9:25 p.m.
