April 15, 1969
The adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District was called to order by President Wagner at
7:30 p.m. in the Casa Loma Jr. High School. Roll call, Directors
present, Wagner, Hastings, Clodt and McGuire. Director Knauft absent.
Present Wagner then turned the meeting over to Vice President McGuire
who presided over the remainder of the meeting.
Chairman McGuire introduced the City officials and Planning Commission
and the City staff. Chairman then introduced the District staff and
Attorney Rodger Howell, Engineers Milo Keith and Sam Peterson and
financial consultant Bill Fieldman.
H. Rodger Howell, attorney for theDistrict gave a brief history of
the Yorba Linda Area and the need for the sewer assessment district.
Milo Keith, sewer consultant engineer explained the Sewer Master Plan
and the proposed assessment district construction to implement the
plan.
Bill Eieldman, financial consultant told of the various methods of
financing the project and the proposed assessment district procedures.
The chairman then opened the meeting for question and answer period.
The discussion period lasted until about 11:30 p.m.
No conclusions arrived at this time. Mr. Don Todd suggested that
a post card poll of the three assessment districts should be taken
before any decision was made.
Meeting adjourned at 11:30 p.m. to
on a motion by Director Hastings,
carried unanimously.
