June 29, 1966
An adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors of ,the. Yorba Linda
County.Water District was called to order at 8:30 a.m. by President
Wagner. Roll.call, Directors present and answering the roll were,
Hastings, McGuire, Wagner and Knauft. Absent, Director Clodt,
Attorney H. Rodger Howell attorney for the District was also present.
Milo Keith and Don Martinson were present from Lowry and Associates,
sewer consultant-s for the District. _
Mr. Keith presented Lowry's suggestion for a Master Plan Study of
the south east area. Discussion, problem area, which a good aireal
survey map would be the most accurate.- Motion by Director McGuire,
seconded by Director Hastings, carried unanimously,to have Logy,
and Associates proceed to make an aireal survey and the necessary
engineering to Master Plan the area but to more precisely define
the area before survey is made - $10,000.00 to be_the approximate
cost with the possibility of recovering this cost or a part of the
cost by added charge in the acreage charge for a new sewer drainage
area. A further check to be made for existing maps that might be
available from M.W.D. and other agencies inthe area.
General Manager presented a request'from the City of Anaheim for
an alternate supply of water for two tracts off Orangethorpe and
west of Orchard. Anaheim to pay the cost of setting two 2" meters
with double check valves, no monthy standby, the water rate to be
the same.as stated in the agreement dated 12/7/65 between City and
District. Motion by Director Hastings seconded by Director McGuire
carried unanimously to approve the above.
General Manager presented an agreement from Southern California
Edison Co. regarding electrical power for Job 270 for 540' of
line 1.30 per foot for a_total of $702.00 to be a repayment
agreement tjape of document. Motion by Director Hastings seconded
by Director Knauft authorizing the General Manager to sign the
agreement and make payment of the,$702.00.
H. Roger Howell read the rough copy of the agreement for Etchandy
Bros. signature for the Right to Drill a Well inBlock 36. Motion
by Director McGuire, seconded by Director Hastings carried un-
animously that the agreement be executed by the proper officers.
RESOLUTION NO. 148
A RESOLUTION OF THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ESTABLISHING
THE SALARY RANGES FOR DISTRICT EMPLOYEES: Motion by Director.McGuire,
seconded by Director Hastings carried the resolution.be adopted
with the following vote: Ayes, .McGuire, Hastings,KNauft, and Wagner.
Noes none. Absent Director Clodt.
Motion by Director McGuire, second,
unanimously to allow the Directors

today and the next regular meeting
Meeting adjourned.
