June 23, 1965
An adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order by
President Wagner at the hour of 8:30 A.M. at the office of the
District, June 23, 1965. All Directors were present. Also present
was H. Rodger Howell, attorney for the District.
A 1,~!tter was read from Diehl, Evans Company reporting that they had
finished the quarterly audit of March 31, 1965 and had found nothing
that required correction.
Manager Shook reported that Mr. Roy Knight, Meter Supervisor, had
resigned effective as of June 25, 1965.-^
A contract with mater Equipment Company for meter reading, billing
and repair was read and discussed with the Attorney for the District.
With certain minor changes to be made the contract would meet with.
the approval of the Attorney. A motion was made by Director Milmoe,
seconded by Director McGuire, and unanimously carried to approve the
contract and authorize the proper officers to sign same when it meets
with the approval of-the Attorney and General Manager.
Job °145 -a- A discussion was held concerning the probabilsit of-
obtaining a sewer easement from Russell Smith.- No decision was made
pending the receipt of further information.
Job S-336 `m A motion was made by Director McGuire, seconded by
Director C lodt to authorize the proper officers to execute -a
Standard Application and Agreement for this Job.
On a motion made by Director Clodt, seconded by Director castings,
and duly carried an asst."gnment of Sewer 'trust funds from Eltinge and
G'raziado to Stephen W. Bradford and Darrel Spence was accepted.
Auditor Kerfoot's request for Board approval of his becoming a member
of the Yorba Linda Volunteer Fire Department was discussed and
approved on a motion made by Director Clodt, seconded by Director
Hastings and unanimously carried. T_
On a motion made by Director McGuire, seconded by Director Hastings
and duly carried audited bills against the District were approved
for nayment as follows:

Job S-73 The hour of 10:00 A.M. having arrived, bids were opened
for this job as follows:

On a motion made by Director Hastings, seconded by Director Clodt and
carried that the District approves the applicant's award of the
contract to the lowest responsible bidder, upon verification of
bids by the Staff.
Job 410 Pursuant to Sec. 7.6 of the rules and regulations the
proposed water service facilities as shown on Exhibit No. A were
examined. It was moved by Director McGuire, seconded by Director
Clodt and carried that the proposed facilities be approved as
conforming to the rues and regulations with no exception.

proposed sewer service facilities as shown on Exhibit No. A were
examined. It was moved by Director McGuire, seconded by Director
Hastings and carried that the application for service be approved
and that the property is within drainage area "Ct°, that the service
charge shall be at the rate of $350.00 per acre, that there shall
be no refund agreement, and that the frontage charge is to be a
percentage of the cost of existing chimney.
J-402 Aa Pursuant to Sec. 7.6 of the rules and regulations the
proposed water service facilities as shown on Exhibit No. A and B
were examined. It was moved by Director Hastings, seconded by
Director Clodt`and carried that the proposed facilities be approved
as conforming to the rules and regulations with no exceptions.
5..402 Pursuant to the rules and regulations the proposed sewer
service facilities as shown on Exhibit A were examined. It was
moved by Director Clodt, seconded by Director McGuire and carried
that the application for service be approved and that the property
is within drainage areas A and C, that the service charge shall be
at the rate of $350.00 per acre for drainage area A and $2000.00
per acre for drainage area C, that there shall be a refund agree-
ment in the amount of approximately $1650.00 per acre for area
C only.
5-10-210 Pursuant to the rules and regulations the proposed sewer
service facilities as shown`on Exhibit No. A were examined. It
was moved by Director McGuire, seconded by Director Hastings and
carried that the application for service be approved and that the
property is within drainage area A, that the service charge shall
be at the rate of $350.00 per acre, that there shall be no
refund agreement.
J-154 C --^Pursuant to Sec. 7.6 of the rules and regulations the
proposed water service facilities as shown on Exhibit No. A were
examined. It was moved by Director Milmoe, seconded by Director
Clodt and carried that the proposed facilities be approved as
conforming to the rules and regulations with exception as follows:
that the width of the easement be either forty feet or fifty feet
to conform to the width of the road required by the County.
J-389 Pursuant to Sec'. 7.`6 of the rules and regulations the
proposed water service facilities as shown on Exhibit` No. A were
examined. It was moved by Director Clodt, seconded by Director
Has,tings and carried that the proposed facilities be approved as
conforming to the rules and regulations.

A motion was made by Director McGuire, seconded by Director
Hastings and duly carried that any of the Directors of the District
and the General Manager be authorized to leave the State of
California for either business or personal reasons between this
date and the next regular meeting of the Board of Directors.
`there being no further business, the meeting was adjourned on a
motion made by Director Clodt, seconded by Director McGuire,
and carried.
