July 28, 1965
An adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District was called to order by President Wagner at
8:30 A.M. at the office of the District July 28, 1965.
Directors persent and answering the roll were: Wagner, Milmoe,
McGuire and Hastings. Director Clodt was absent. Jim Erickson
attorney for the District was also present.
Discussion regarding the Salary Resolution. Motion by Director
Milmoe seconded by Director McGuire, resolution to be given further
study, report back when study completed, motion carried.
Manager Shook announced that it was V. Y. Smith's 23rd year with
the District and invited the Board of Directors to a Testimonial
Dinner for Mr. Smith at The Palms on August 6, 1965 at 7:00 P.M.
President Wagner appointed Ralph McGuire and Rex Hastings as-.a
committee of two to select a suitable gift, not to exceed $100.00.
Budget Committee report - The final Budget Report was tabled as the
year end report was not back from,the Auditors, Diehl and Evans.
Jim Erickson, attorney for the District reported that the Agreement
with Anaheim would be finished shortly,, a few minor changes to be
made by J. Giessler, attorney for Anaheim.
The Brea vs Y.L.C.W.D. matter came before the Judge who rendered
the decision, for a possible Appeal, this hearing date was July 23,'
1965. After much discussion the Judge took the matter under sub-
mission- to recondi.der his decision prior to August 3, 1965 and at
that time or before we will be notified of the Notice of Appeal
Job S»179 B Sewer Agreement ready for execution. Motion byDirector
Hastings, seconded by Director McGuire and carried that the proper
office be authorized to execute this agreemt.
S.-82 - Sewer Agreement to be executed. Motion by Director Hastings,
seconded by Director McGuire and carried that the proper officers
be authorized to execute the agreement.
Job 59 - Common Use Agreement # 7 CC 2476 revised Attorney
Erickson indicated Agreement was correct as to form and should be
executed by the proper officrs. Motion byDirector Hastings,,
seconded by Director McGuire and carried that the proper go officers
be authorized to execute the Agreement.

Pursuant to the rules and regulations exhibits and staff recommenda-
tions were reviewed. It was moved by Director McGuire seconded by
Director Hastings and carried that the staff recommendations be
approved..

Mr. Roger Price presented his request for service.
Pursuant to the rules and regulations exhibit "Ay was examined

Pursuant to the rules and regulations the exhibits were examined.
It was moved byDirector McGuire, seconded by Director Hastings
that staff recommendations be approved. Motion carried.
Mr. Korn stated that thisproperty has at present time no sewer
service and sewer service will be subject to installation of a
public sewer to the property.

Pursuant to the rules and regulations the application and exhibits
were examined. It was moved by Director Hastings, seconded by
Director.McGuire and carried that the staff recommendations be
approved.
Job 422
Pursuant to the rules and regulations the exhibits showing Alternate
"A"" and alternate "B" were reviewed. It was moved by Director
McGuire seconded by Director Milmoe and carried tnat the staff
present Mr. Lamhoffer with both "A" and "B" alternates and that
either plan that meets with Mr-. Lamhoffer" s approval would meet
with the approval of the Board.

Pursuant to the rules and regulations the exhibits showing
Alternates"A"" and Alternate "B" were examined. Motion by Director
McGuire, seconded byDirector Milmoe and carried aka that which
ever alternate Mr. Walker would accept was approved by the Board.

Pursuant to the rules and regulations the application and exhibits
were examined. It was moved by Director McGuire seconded by
Director Milmoe and carried that the application be approved as
per staff recommendations. - -
Job 425 •
Pursuant to the rules and regulations the application and exlibits
were examined. It=was moved by Director McGuire seconded by
Director Milmoe and carried that the staff recommendations be
approved.
Motion byDirector McGuire, seconded by Director Milmoe that the
sudited bills against the district and the refunds be approved for
payment. Motion carried.
Job 270
Yorba Linda County Water District's Shell Oil Company temporary
service connection OC -36 is due to expire January 4, 1966.,After
discussion the General Manager was instructed to negotiate with
Shell regarding a solution.
Motion byDirector McGuire, seconded by Director Milmoe that all
District Directors have permission to leave the State of California

between this date and the next regular meeting of theBoard of
Directors, for either pleasure or business.
Motion by Director McGuire, seconded by Director Hastings that
the meeting be adjourned.
