4. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Any individual wishing to address the Board (or Committee) is requested to identify themselves and state
the matter on which they wish to comment. If the matter is on the agenda, the Chair will recognize the
individual for their comment when the item is considered. No action will be taken on matters not listed on
the agenda. Comments are limited to three minutes and must be related to matters of public interest
within the jurisdiction of the Water District. (GC 54954.3)
5. TOUR AND DEMO OF WELLS FARGO HELI -HYDRANT AND LANDING ZONE
The Board of Directors will be conducting a facility tour and demonstration at the location listed at the top
of the agenda. Interested parties will need to meet there if they desire to participate. Questions regarding
the tour can be directed to Joanna Gonzalez, Public Affairs Officer, at 714-701-3023.

6.1. The next regular Board meeting is scheduled Thursday, September 7, 2023 at
3:00 p.m.
Items Distributed to the Board Less Than 72 Hours Prior to the Meetina
Non-exempt materials related to open session agenda items that are distributed to a majority of the Board of
Directors (or Committee Members) less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting will be available for
public inspection in the lobby of the District's Administrative building located at 1717 E Miraloma Ave, Placentia
CA 92870 during regular business hours. When practical, these materials will also be posted on the District's

Yorba Linda Wafer District (YLWD) serves reliable water and sewer services to residents and businesses of Yorba
Linda, portions of Placentia, Brea, Anaheim, and areas of unincorporated Orange County. The Wells Fargo
Heli -Hydrant is YLWD's second Heli -Hydrant, installed at a reservoir site on the edge of the Chino Hills State Park.
The Heli -Hydrant helps local fire authorities save critical time and effectively fight wildfires more efficiently by
offering a strategically placed, quick -fill, pilot -operated water source that can fill in just a few minutes. In
addition, the Heli -Hydrant allows helicopter pilots to access water independently through remote operation
technology. The Wells Fargo Heli -Hydrant is an invaluable piece of infrastructure that offers Orange County a
game -changing way to safeguard life, property, and the environment for the benefit of the community.
