September 10, 1962
A special meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order by
Vice President Milmoe at the request of the majority of the Board,
at the office of the District September 10, 1962 at the hour of
8.00 A.M. The meeting was called to discuss the consideration of
legal action to oppose annexations by others, specifically the
Placentia Annexation No. 62-5.
Directors Milmoe, Clodt, McGuire and Hastings were present. Director
Wagner was absent and a Waiver signed by Mr. Wagner is attached
hereto. Attorney H. Rodger Hdwell was present also.
After thorough analysis and discussion it was agreed that it would be
for the benefit of the District and good policy to cooperate with
interested parties to take legal steps to combat the Placentia
Annexation # 62-5.
It was unanimously determined that the Attorney and General Manager
are authorized to sign and file and take any action necessary to
file legal proceeding against the City of Placentia for their
Annexation It 62-5.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned on a
motion made by Director Hastings, seconded by Director McGuire
and carried.

WAIVER OF NOTICE rND CONSENT TO HOLDING
SPECIAL 14LETIYG OF DIRECTORS
OF
YORBA LII?DA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
The undersigned, Merwin Wagner , a member of
the Board of Directors of Yorba Linda County Water District, does
hereby waive notice and consent to the holding of a special meeting
of the directors of that District at the principal office of the
District at 4866 South Olinda, Yorba Linda, California at
8:00 A.M. September 10, 1962 for the
purpose discussing the consideration of legal action to
oppose annexations by others
does hereby ratify any and all actions taken thereat and agrees
that any businass contracted at said meeting shall be as valid and
legal and of the same force and effect as though said meeting were
held after notice was duly given.
