February 8, 1960
The Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District met in ad-
journed regular session on the 8th day of February, 1960. The meeting was
called to order at 8:3Q o'clock A.M.
Directors present were: Nor. Crist, Mr: Wagner, Mr. Milmoe, Mir. Clodt, and
Mr. Hastings. Absent: None: Also present was H. Rodger Howell, Attorney for
the District.
The first order of business was a thorough analysis and study of Preliminary
Construction Plans as prepared by James Montgomery.
A motion was made by Director Hastings, seconded by Director Clodt, Md carried
that the General Manager be authorized to apply for the variances necessary
to proceed with the contemplated construction work.
A discussion was held concerning the price of land to be aquired for reservoir
sites and roads. Mr. Dueker reported t hat he had obtained e stimates from- f our
r-ealtors and one banker and that there alas a wide variance in the five estimates.
It was generally agreed that it would be advisable to obtain the opinion of
a qualified expert in the appraisal field. A motion was made by Director
Clodt, seconded by Director Hastings, and carried that Manager Dueker be
authorized to employ a professional appraiser to render a report on all the
lands necessary to be aquired.
All Directors were then given revised copies of the proposed Rules ana kegula-
tions and the balance of the meeting was devoted to study of same.
On a motion made by Director Hastings, seconded by Director Clodt, and carried
the meeting was adjourned.
