An adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water
District was called to order at the office of the District April 6, 1960 at the
hour of 3030 a.m. All Directors were present and answered the roll. Also present
was Mr. George Kay of James Montgomery Company.
Section 2.3 of the Rules and Regulations providing.for irrigation service through
one meter for two or more parcels under separate ownership was discussed. After a
discussion motion was made by Director Hastings, seconded by Director Wagner and
carried that notwithstanding any foregoing Resolutions the enforcement of Section
2.3 of the Rules and Re.-alations shall be left to the discretion of the General
Manager.
A discussion was held concerning a differential in irrigation rates for Block 36
was held. It was agreed that Mr. Dueker and Mr. Kay should make a study of this
matter and report their findings to the Board pending a meeting with representatives
from Block 36.
Mr. Dueker reported that the Shell hearing had been postponed until Friday, April
15, 1960 and that Mr. Jentzen was meeting with the Shell executives this morning.
After discussion it was agreed that Manager Dueker should contact the low bidders
for-the construction projects preparatory to the possibility of asking for an
extension of time in making the awards.
On a motion by Director Clodt, seconded by Director Hastings and duly carried the
meeting was adjourned.
