August 30, 1960
A special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District
was called to order at the office of the District, August 30, 1960, at the hour of
4:00 p.m., by President Crist. All Directors were present and answered the roll.
Also present was Mr. George Kay of James Montgomery & Associates and Attorney
Wm. B. Harmon of Rutan & Associates.
The purpose of the meeting was to receive and open bids for construction project
2-W. Bids were opened from the following firms: Ace Pipeline Construction,
Engineering Contractors, Inc., J. E. Young Pipeline, Pascal and Ludwig, Rosecran's
Construction Company, Drennon Construction, Taylor & Hoover, Bovee & Crail Con-
struction, James E. Hoagland Conpany, Wm. R. Crail Construction, and Ecco.
Representatives from most firms bidding were present.
A motion was made by Director Milmoe, seconded by Director Hastings, and carried
that the bids be referred to the General Manager, Attorney, and Secretary for
opening and checking totals and bidders surety bonds, and to the Engineers for
evaluation, before a declaration of award by the District Board.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned on a motion by Director
Wagner, seconded by Director Clodt, and duly carried.
