Both sides were heard and after the representatives 'were excused the Board of
Dir,.ctors discussed and analyzed the advantages of both minds of pipe, ease
of lay:in;, cost of fittin-s and initial cost. After discussion a notion

carried that asboctos cement pipe be used and that the contract f'or Sched;le
II of Specil'ications 1 -k in the amount of 4-95,3_16.00 be awarded to the

Discussion of the necessity for more equipment to augment the District's
construction program was held. A motion was mace by Director Clodt,
by Dir•ectcr i,4ilrroe and unanimously carried thatthe :;eneral iJianager b:.
authorized to purchasc one tract layer tractor for a sum not to excec :
43,000.00 and aloo purchase one dozer blade for a sulm not to exceed
after further discussion a motion was made by Director Hastings, seconded
