July 8, 1959
A regular meeting of the Hoard of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District
was held at the office of the Yorba Linda Water Co., Yorba Linda, California, July F,
1959 at the hour of 7:00. P.M.
On the call of the roll by the Secretary all of the members answered to their names.
On a motion by Mr. Hastings, seconded by Mr. Clodt and duly carried the minutes of
the regular meeting of June 10, 195q and subsequent special meetings were approved as
?nailed.
The finance committee reported that a bill in the amount of $1.10 had been audited
and approved. A motion was made by Mr. Clodt, seconded by Mr. Hastings and carried
that the audited bill be paid.
A communication was read from Congressman Utt informing the Board of Directors that the
Home Finance Agency had approved the District's application for a loan of $5,000.00
for preliminary sewer planning, After discussion a motion was made by Mr. Hastings,
seconded by Mr.. Wagner and carried that the committee for sewage Engineering arrange
for an unofficial discussion with Lowry and Associates as to recommendations for a
contract when the official approval arrived from the Home Finance Agency.
Mr. Crist reported that he had. talked again with. Mr. Drown concerning possible purchase
by the District of the water facilities of Yorba Linda Country Club Estates and that
Mr. :Drown indicated that he and Mr. Billiard would prefer to wait until the ne-otiations
for the ourchase of the Yorba Linda 'later Co. were further advanced.
The budget for 1959-60 was discussed and on a motion mare by Mr. Clodt, seconded by j
Mr. Hastings, and unanimously carried the following Resolution (No.
g) was adopted. j
RESOLVED: That the budget for the Yorba Linda County Water District be adopted and
approved as submitted.
There being; no further business the meeting was declared adjourned by President Crist.
