The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Coun'
Water District was called to order at the office of the District on
December 9, 1959 at the hour of 7:00 P.M. by President Grist. All
Directors were present and answered the roll call. Also present were
H. Rodger Howell, attorney and Mr. Herman Zelles, representative of
Stone and Youngberg.
Upon a motion by Director Hastings, seconded by Director Wagner and
unamimously carried the minutes of the meetings held November 12,
November 17, and November 23 were approved as mailed.
The Secretary read a letter from the Bank of America submitting the
names of several banks in New York and Chicago and requested the
Board choose one bank in each city as a paying agent for interest and
principal on Bonds. A motion was made by Director Wagner, seconded
by Director Hastings, and carried that the Chase Manhattan Bank of
New York and the City National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago be
designated as paying agents.
The finance committee presented and recommended for payment bills
against the District in the amount of $787.16. A motion was made by
Director Hastings seconded by Director Clodt and carried that the
audited bills be paid.

Mr. Zelles presented a tentative prospectus to mail to prospective bond
purchasers. Mr. Zelles also presented a Calendar on Sale of Bonds and
two resolutions prepared by O'Melveny and Myers providing for Issuance
of Bonds and for Inviting bids on the bonds.
A motion was made by Director Wagner and seconded by Director Hastings
that Resolution No. 16 entitled: Resolution of Board of Directors of
Iorba Linda County Water District providing for issuance of bonds of
said District in the amount of $1 670 00 for acquisition and construction
of certain District improvements, as called with the following
vote recorded: Director Wagner, yes; Director Milmoe, yes; Director
Hastings, yes; Director Clodt, yes; Director Grist, yes.
A motion was made by Director Clodt, seconded by Director Hastings that
Resolution # 17 entitled: Resolution of Board of Directors of Yorba Linda
County Water District declaring invitaticn to sell bonds of said District
in the amount of $1,670,000., fixing time and place for taking bids and
directing publication of notice inviting bids eTA40414•was called with
the following vote recorded: Director Wagner, yes; Director Milmoe, yes;
Director Hastings, yes; Director Clodt, yes; Director Grist, yes.
Preliminary plans by Montgomery Company for reservoir sites and type of
construction for buildings were presented for discussion and review.
After discussion it was the opinion of the Board that concrete block
type of buildings should be constructed at Plant # 1 and Plant # 3•
Upon a motion made by Director Wagner, seconded by Director Hastings and
unanimously carried the meeting was adjourned.
