RESOLUTION NO. 73-3)
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY
WATER DISTRICT ESTABLISHING THE SALARY RANGES FOR DISTRICT
EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, it is necessary from time to time to review salary ranges,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors have reviewed the following salary
ranges;
NOW THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY
WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That, the General Manager shall employ the required
personnel for the operation of the District and shall set their
compensation, either on an hourly or monthly basis, within the
following salary ranges:

SECTION 2. That, for the purpose of implementing the above, the
corresponding hourly rate shall be determined by dividing the
monthly salary by 173.333.
SECTION 3. That, Department heads and other key personnel shall
not be eligible for paid overtime. Compensatory time off for
work beyond the normal work week may be granted at the discretion
of the General Manager
SECTION 4. That, the following listed positions are deemed "key
personnel", General Manager, Operations Manager, Secretary,
Auditor Accoutant, Plan Check Engineer, Accounting Officer,
Administrative Aid, Assistant Engineer, Sr. Engineering Aid,
Personnel Director, Warehouseman 6 Buyer, Water Superintendent.
(Rules 6 Section 6.04 Personnel Manual).
SECTION 5. That, this resolution shall be effective as of this
date.
SECTION 6. That all conflicting resolutions and minute orders
are hereby repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 15th day of November
1973, by the following called vote:
AYES: Directors Clodt, Hastings, Knauft and Lindow
