SUBJECT: Summary Minutes of the Shell Ad Hoc Committee Meeting
The Shell Ad Hoc Committee held a meeting on November 7, 1997. Present were Directors Carl
Scanlin and Michael Beverage, staff members William Robertson, Chuck Gray, and Ken
Vecchiaerlli, and Shell -Toll representatives George Basye, Jim Boyd, and Teen Flores. The
committee conducted a review of the principal individuals involved with the project, lines of
communication, and the business relationship of Shell -Toll Y/L LP. Items discussed were public
verses private financing of capital facilities, funding District staff time and consultants costs, and
capital project control and phasing. All issues discussed by the Committee will be presented for
action at a future Board of Directors meeting. In addition, the Committee discussed setting a
Board workshop in February or March to discuss this matter in more detail.
