Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting
The Public Information Committee met on January 13, 1998. Directors Mike Beverage, Sterling
Fox, General Manager Bill Robertson, Assistant General Manager Mike Payne and Public
Information Officer Mike Robinson were present. The committee discussed the following items:
1. Waterlines newsletter. The committee reviewed the articles that will appear in the next
edition of the District's customer newsletter.
2. Summary of public information activities. The following activities were discussed by the
committee: Eastside Reservoir tour; District facilities tour; water conservation brochures;
Richfield Plant tour program for elementary school students; the 1998 Annual Report; and a
Water Awareness Month open house at the Richfield Plant.
3. Monthly billing. The committee discussed a staff report concerning the benefits and costs of
implementing monthly bill of the District's customers.
