SUBJECT: Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting
The Public Information Committee met on February 19, 1998. Directors Mike Beverage, Arthur
Korn, General Manager Bill Robertson, Assistant General Manager Mike Payne and Public
Information Officer Mike Robinson were present. Sheri Johnson and Lisa Cruz from consultants
Laer Pearce & Associates were also present. The committee discussed the following items:
1. Annual Report. The committee reviewed and discussed the proposed design and layout for
the 1998 annual report. The committee also reviewed an outline of the topics for the report.
2. Richfield Plant Open House. The committee reviewed the proposed outline of features of the
open house to be held during Water Awareness Month on May 2, 1998.
3. Upcoming Events. The committee reviewed plans for public information events to be held
during the first half of 1998. These events include the District Facilities Tour on February 28`h;
the MWD Eastside Reservoir Tour on April 8`h; the Emergency Preparedness Fair in April; and
the Main Street Arts and Crafts Fair in June.
