Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting
The Public Information Committee met on September 22, 1998. Directors Mike Beverage, Paul
Armstrong, General Manager Bill Robertson, Assistant General Manager Mike Payne and Public
Information Officer Mike Robinson were present. The committee discussed the following items:
1. Magnet Brochure. The committee reviewed a first draft of a piece that includes a
"refrigerator magnet" with the District's emergency service telephone number to be made
available to District customers.
2. Water Lines Newsletter. The committee discussed the subject matter of the upcoming edition
of the newsletter sent to all District customers.
3. Upcoming Events. The committee reviewed plans for public information events to be held
during the fall of 1998. These events include the District Facilities Tour on September 19';
tours of the Richfield Plant for Fullerton College environmental studies students on September
22 "d and October V; Placentia Heritage Days Parade on October 10`h; Yorba Linda Fiesta Days
Parade and Street Fair on October 31 "
