SUBJECT: Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting
ITEM NO. 116
The Public Information Committee met on November 17, 1998. Directors Mike Beverage, Paul
Armstrong, General Manager Bill Robertson and Public Information Officer Mike Robinson were
present. The committee reviewed public information events held during the fall of 1998. These
events included the District Facilities Tour, "Showerhead September," tours of the Richfield Plant
for Fullerton College environmental studies students, Placentia Heritage Days Parade, Yorba Linda
Fiesta Days Parade and Street Fair. The committee reviewed District publications including the
Water Quality Report, Annual Report, Water Lines newsletter, Employee's newsletter and monthly
articles in "Zip Code Magazine" and the refrigerator magnets featuring the District's customer
service telephone number. The committee discussed future public information activities.
