SUBJECT: Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting
The Public Information Committee met on June 3, 1999. Directors Mike Beverage, Bret Barbre,
General Manager Bill Robertson, Assistant General Manager Mike Payne and Public Information
Officer Mike Robinson were present. The committee discussed future public information activities
for the upcoming fiscal year including public events, student tours and speakers bureau events and
District publications. Other projects discussed include the brochure bags, telephone access, a
proclamation form, cable television access, the signs project, telephone "on hold" message update,
an informational video, an internet website, a history of the District, "give away" items, the 2000
Urban Water Management Plan update and a public relations consultant.
