SUBJECT: Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting
The Public Information Committee met on May 16, 2000. Directors Mike Beverage, Brett Barbre,
General Manager Bill Robertson, Assistant General Manager Mike Payne, Public Information
Officer Mike Robinson and Network Administrator Art Vega were present.
1. Web Site. The Committee reviewed the development of a District internet web site. The
Committee provided comments to staff. Mr. Vega left the meeting at the conclusion of this
item.
2. Zip Code Magazine. The committee reviewed the story for the June 2000 edition of this
monthly community publication.
3. Main Street Arts and Crafts Fair. The Committee reviewed plans for the District's
participation in this event.
4. Little Hoover Commission Report. The Committee reviewed the District's response to this
report that includes a story in the next edition of "Zip Code" magazine and a story in the next
edition of "Water Lines" newsletter.
5. Consumer Confidence Report. The Committee reviewed the development of this publication
that will be distributed to all District Customers. The Committee provided comments to staff.
6. District video. The committee reviewed a draft of the script for a District informational video.
