SUBJECT: Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting
ITEM NO.
The Public Information Committee met on August 15, 2000. Directors Mike Beverage, Brett
Barbre, General Manager Bill Robertson, Assistant General Manager Mike Payne and Public
Information Officer Mike Robinson were present.
The following items were discussed:
District video. The committee reviewed a draft of the script for the District informational
video. The Committee provided comments to staff..
2. Web Site. The Committee reviewed the development of the District internet web site. The
Committee provided comments to staff.
3. Newspaper Articles. The Committee review recent articles in the Orange County Register
and Los Angeles Times that dealt with sewer system problems in county beach cities.
4. Status of Public Information activities. The Committee reviewed a schedule of upcoming
public events and a proposed District proclamation form.
