SUBJECT: Summary Minutes of the Planning- Engineering- Operations Committee Meeting
The Planning- Engineering- Operations Committee held a meeting on February 2, 1999. Present
were Directors Paul Armstrong, Brett Barbre and staff members William Robertson, Lee Cory,
Chuck Gray, Ken Vecchiarelli, and Robert Lemon. The committee discussed the following items.
1. Richfield Plant Remodel Project. Robert Lemon, Senior Engineering Technician,
presented a staff report on the Richfield Plant remodel project. Items discussed were the
building layouts, landscape plans, project timing, and the estimated budget for the project.
In addition, design cost extras, and construction management and inspection requirements
were reviewed. An agenda report considering a design cost amendment is contained
within this agenda package.
2. Yorba Linda Heights Development. Chuck Gray, Engineering Manager, presented a
staff report on the Yorba Linda Heights development project. Pulte Home Corporation is
processing development plans through the City of Yorba Linda. Items discussed were the
water and sewer master plans, preannexation agreement requirements, and the timing of
the project. In addition, the coordination of this project with the S &S and NOCCCD
properties was reviewed. Staff will keep the committee advised of the progress of this
project.
3. Other. No additional items were discussed.
