SUBJECT: Summary Minutes of the Planning- Engineering- Operations Committee
Meeting
The Planning- Engineering- Operations Committee held a meeting on June 30, 1999. Present
were Paul R. Armstrong, Brett R. Barbre, William Robertson and Ken Vecchiarelli. The
following items were discussed:
Shell -Toll Sewer Trunk and Water Transmission pipelines in Valley View. Mr. Vecchiarelli
reported developers are moving forward with the extension of Valley View and will install
sewer facilities before the master plan is complete. The developer has agreed to replace the
pipe in the event it's too small for future development.
2. Shell -Toll. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported the District is working on the agreement to construct
reservoirs and related facilities. The Board will act on the final agreement when it's
available.
3. Agreement for Construction Management Service with Parsons Engineering Science. Mr.
Vecchiarelli reported the developer is ready to fund the construction management services
with Parson Engineering Science for the two major reservoir projects.
4. Letter to homeowners re: OCSD Charge. Director Barbre requested that staff prepare a fact
sheet for distribution at a September 23, community meeting and other public events.
5. Speed bump at Highland Reservoir. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported the District will install a speed
bump at the Highland Reservoir. The bump is the same design as used by the City of Yorba
Linda.
