SUBJECT: Summary Minutes of the Orange County Water District Ad Hoc Committee
Meeting
The Orange County Water District Ad Hoc Committee meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.
on November 8, 1999. Present were Arthur C. Korn, Brett Barbre and William Robertson. The
OCWD representatives were Director Larry Kraemer and General Manager William Mills.
1. Orange County Water District Policy issues. Staff and Committee members discussed the
Huntington Beach issue.
2. Purchasing groundwater from Southern California Water Company. Discussion of
purchasing excess well supply from Southern Cal. Water Company. At issue is who scores
the well supply as a percent of total for Replenishment Assessment purposes. Mr. Mills
replied the producer, or owner, is charged the Replenishment Assessment.
