PUBLIC COMMENTS Any individual wishing to address the Board is requested to identify themselves and state the matter on which they wish to comment. If the matter is on the agenda, the Board will recognize the individual for their comment when the item is considered. No action will be taken on matters not listed on the agenda. Comments are limited to matters of public interest and matters within the jurisdiction of the Water District. Comments are limited to five minutes. 4. DISCUSSION ITEMS This portion of the agenda is for matters that cannot reasonably be expected to be concluded by action of the Board of Directors at the meeting, such as technical presentations, drafts of proposed policies, or similar items for which staff is seeking the advice and counsel of the Board of Directors. Time permitting, it is generally in the District's interest to discuss these more complex matters at one meeting and consider formal action at another meeting. This portion of the agenda may also include items for information only. 4.1. Board of Directors Annual Tour of District Facilities and Construction Projects 5. ADJOURNMENT 5.1. The next Regular Board of Directors Meeting will be held Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. Items Distributed to the Board Less Than 72 Hours Prior to the Meeting Pursuant to Government Code section 54957.5, non - exempt public records that relate to open session agenda items and are distributed to a majority of the Board less than seventy -two (72) hours prior to the meeting will be available for public inspection in the lobby of the District's business office located at 1717 E. Miraloma Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870, during regular business hours. When practical, these public records will also be made available on the District's internet website accessible at http://www.ylwd.com/. We will visit the District's recently completed meter testing facility on site. 2 Well 21 Site at OCWD's water recharge complex. We executed an agreement in 2012 with OCWD for this well site. We are preparing contract documents for drilling of a test well Sept -Oct. After receipt of test results (assuming good results) we will proceed with design of well -site equipment. 3 Well No. 20 site. Construction was completed in 2012 for Well No. 20, at the site of the District's existing Well No. 11. We use Well No. 20 (3,200 gpm flow) with Well No. 11 as a backup. 4 Richfield Rd. Pipeline Replacement. As part of our 2010 Pipeline Replacement Project, we are replacing a 75 year old 26" steel pipeline with a 12" PVC pipeline. 5 Highland Booster Station. New pump station, with capacity to pump 18,000 gpm, with two engine- driven and three motor - driven pumps. 6 Yorba Linda Blvd. Pipeline and Booster Station. Location of new pipeline in YL Blvd constructed in 2012, and new booster station under construction on former Gun Club Road, to be complete in 2014. 7 Fairmont Reservoir and Booster Station site. Location of replacement with larger and more diverse booster station, planned for completion in 2016. Received proposals June 12 for engineering services for preliminary and final design and for construction -phase services. 8 Timber Ridge Booster Station & Pressure - Regulating Station. Location of recently rebuilt pressure - regulating station. 9 Vantage Points: Various vantage points for Cielo Vista Development and Yorba Linda Estates Development. 10 Hidden Hills Booster Station. Existing District pumping facility and current construction site for 2012 Pipeline Replacement Project. 11 Santiago Reservoir & Booster Station. District facilities and also a vantage point for proposed developments. 12 YLWD Administration Building (Ending Point)
