MINUTES OF THE
YORBA LINDA WATER DISTRICT
BOARD OF DIRECTORS SPECIAL MEETING
February 15, 2001
The February 15, 2001 regular meeting of the Yorba Linda Water District Board of Directors
was called to order by President Paul Armstrong at 8:30 a.m. The meeting was held at District
Headquarters, 4622 Plumosa Drive, Yorba Linda.
Directors present at roll call:
President Paul Armstrong
Vice President Arthur C. Korn
Mark Abramowitz
Michael J. Beverage
Staff Present:
William J. Robertson, General Manager
Visitors present: Greg Algore
William J. Robertson left the meeting at 8:40 a.m.
Applicants for the Board of Directors vacancy were interviewed.
The names of those interviewed were: Ken Darby
Janis Lehman
Robert Lyons
John Summerfield
Jeffrey White
Kenneth Witt
Discussion was held.
On a motion by Director Beverage, seconded by Vice President Korn, the Board of Directors
voted 3-1, with Director Abramowitz dissenting, to appoint John Summerfield to fill the vacancy
on the Board of Directors.
William J. Robertson rejoined the meeting at 11:30 a.m.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Vice President Korn, seconded by Director Beverage, the Board of Directors
voted 4-,0 at 11:38 a.m. to adjourn the meeting to Thursday, February 22 at 8:30 a.m. at the
Secretary/General Manager
