PUBLIC AFFAIRS-COMMUNICATIONS-TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEETING
Monday, January 5, 2015, 2:00 p.m.

1. CALL TO ORDER
The January 5, 2015 meeting of the Yorba Linda Water District's Public Affairs-
Communications-Technology Committee was called to order by Director Collett at
2:00 p.m. The meeting was held in the Admin Conference Room at the District's
Administration Building located at 1717 East Miraloma Avenue in Placentia,
California 92870.

Director Ric Collett, Chair Marc Marcantonio, General Manager
Director Robert R. Kiley Damon Micalizzi, Public Information Mgr.
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS
None.
4. DISCUSSION ITEMS
4.1. 2015 Website Refresh
Mr. Micalizzi informed the Committee that the website was going to be
getting a facelift. The updated website is targeted for launch at the end of
February.
4.2. Winter Newsletter Content
Mr. Micalizzi presented the Committee with proposed content for the Winter
Newsletter. The newsletter is targeted to mail in mid-February.
4.3. Status of Current Public Outreach Activities and Water Donations
The Committee reviewed the report, noting the steady increase in requests
for water donations.
4.4. Future Media Outreach and Press Relations (Verbal Report)
Mr. Micalizzi briefed the Committee on potential upcoming media stories
and inquiries that may involve the District.
4.5. Future Agenda Items and Staff Tasks
None.

5.1. The meeting was adjourned at 2:50 p.m. The next Public Affairs-
Communications-Technology Committee meeting will be held Monday,
February 2, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
