PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE JUN
June 6, 2005
A meeting of the Public Information Committee was called to order by Committee Chair John
Summerfield at 4:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the District Headquarters, 4622 Plumosa
Drive, Yorba Linda.

ACTION ITEMS
Article for July issue of West Coast Magazine. The committee reviewed, offered
comments and approved the article.
STANDING ITEMS
2. Status of public events. The committee reviewed the District Facilities Tour held May
14. The Committee was informed that the annual Main Street Arts and Crafts Fair, at
which the District has presented an information booth, will not be held this year. The
District will provide ice water and a "mister" feature at the American Cancer Society's
"Relay for Life" on August 12 and 13.
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
3. Status of the 2005 Urban Water Management Plan. The committee reviewed the
District's plans to update this document.
4. Water Bill Messaae on uocomina water rate increase. The committee reviewed and
provided comments on a draft message and directed staff to present the message for
the bull Board of Director's review.
The committee adjourned at 4:44 p.m.
