81,A meeting of the Public Information Committee was called to order by Committee
Chairman John Summerfield at 4:06 p.m. The meeting was held at District
Headquarters, 4622 Plumosa Drive, Yorba Linda.
DIRECTORS PRESENT:
Director John Summerfield, Chair
Director Michael J. Beverage
VISITORS PRESENT:
None
STAFF PRESENT:
Michael A. Payne, General Manager
ACTION ITEMS:
1. Review text of 2005 YLWD Annual Report.
The committee discussed the draft text of 2005 Annual report. The committee
requested additional changes be made to the formatting.
STANDING ITEMS:
2. Upcoming public events.
Michael Payne provided an update of the public events for the remainder of
the year. Events included the Cancer relay water booth in August, Placentia
Heritage day's parade, Yorba Linda Fiesta day's parade and booth, and the
Employees recognition dinner.
INFORMATION ITEMS:
3. District facilities tour scheduled for Saturday, September 24.
Michael Payne provided an update of the facilities tour scheduled for Saturday,
September 24.
