PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE
November 14, 2005
A meeting of the Public Information Committee was called to order by Committee C r John
Summerfield at 4:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the District Headquarters, 4622 Plumosa
Drive, Yorba Linda.

Michael J. Beverage
STAFF PRESENT
Michael A. Payne, General Manager
Mike Robinson, Public Information Officer
ACTION ITEMS
1. 2005 YLWD Annual Report. The Committee reviewed the text and discussed the format
for the upcoming report and provided direction to staff.
STANDING ITEMS
2. West Coast Magazine Articles. The Committee discussed the content of articles for this
monthly publication.
3, Water Lines Articles. The Committee discussed the content of the upcoming edition of
the District's customer newsletter.
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
4. Public events activities:
a. Placentia Heritage Days Parade. The District participated in this event held on
October 8.
b. Yorba Linda Fiesta Days Parade and Street Faire. The District participated in these
events held on October 29.
c. Groundbreaking and dedication of District facilities. The Committee discussed plans
for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Richfield Plant administration building to
be held in conjunction with an open house during May of 2006.
