AD HOC COMMITTEE MEETING /

A meeting of the Municipal Water District of Orange County Ad Hoc Committee was called to
order by Chair Paul R. Armstrong at 4:30 p.m. The meeting was held at the District
Headquarters, 4622 Plumosa Drive, Yorba Linda.

Director Paul R. Armstrong, Chairman
Director Michael J. Beverage
STAFF PRESENT:
Michael A. Payne, General Manager
Kenneth R. Vecchiarelli, Assist. G.M.
MWDOC DIRECTORS PRESENT:
None
MWDOC STAFF PRESENT:
Kevin Hunt, General Manager
INTRODUCTION OF VISITORS AND PUBLIC COMMENTS:
There were no visitors.
DISCUSSION
The following items were discussed at the meeting:
1. Budaet for YLWD Well field pumpina to EOCF#2/2" d Lower Feeder Extension Studv
Next Year. Kevin Hunt gave a report on YLWD's request to connect the District's
well system to MWD's new pipeline. This issue is being discussed by many
agencies.
2. Central Pool Intearated Area Studv. Kevin Hunt gave a report on the Central Pool
Integrated Area Study and the various options.
3. LAFCO Municipal Service Review (MSR) Process for MWDOC. The Committee
discussed the LAFCO review of both the YLWD and MWDOC. YLWD's MSR has
just been completed and MWDOC's is due this summer. YLWD agreed to provide
comments on MWDOC's MSR.
4. In Lieu Proaram. Michael Payne gave a verbal report on the YLWD's participation of
the in lieu program. Mr. Hunt stated that there is no report on when this program will
end.
ADJOURNMENT
The committee adjourned at 5:25 p.m. The next YLWD-MWDOC Ad Hoc Committee is
scheduled for June 27, 2006.
