Summary minutes of the Orange County Water District Ad Hoc Committee.
The Orange County Water District Ad Hoc Committee held a meeting on January 26, 2004.
Present were Directors William R. Mills, Michael J. Beverage and General Manager Michael A.
Payne. Representatives from OCWD in attendence were Director Larry Kraemer, General
Manager Virginia Grebbien, and John Kennedy.
The following items were discussed:
Request for Proposal/Environmental Impact Report: Virginia Grebbien gave a report on
the different meetings and comments received from the different groundwater producers
about the proposal for the EIR.
2. Basin Production Percentage: Virginia Grebbien gave a report on the projected Basin
Production percentages for the upcoming year and all of the factors that contribute to the
deciding percentage.
3. OCWD Annexation Charge Report: Michael Payne reported that District staff was
working on the Annexation report calculations for 98-1 (Shell Development) and that the
report would be submitted to OCWD before the deadline.
4. Availability of Replenishment Water: Virginia Grebbien reported that the only
replenishment water being offered by Met is from Northern California. There is no extra
water from the Colorado River.
