SUBJECT: Summary Minutes of the Planning-Engineering-Operations Committee Meeting
The Planning-Engineering-Operations Committee held a meeting on March 20, 2002. Present
were John Summerfield, Michael Beverage, Bill Robertson, Ken Vecchiarelli and Ray Hahn.
The following items were discussed:
1. Other. Mr. Hahn reported on change order items for the Richfield Plant Renovation
Project, Phase 2. Several of these items are included in an agenda item for the Board of
Directors consideration in this agenda packet. Other items will follow at a later date. Mr.
Hahn left the meeting following this discussion. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported on issues
regarding MBK Homes' development project, Tract 16028 of the Vista Del Verde Master
Planned Development. Issues for the Board's consideration on these matters is expected
to follow in April.
2. Fees for the Bastanchury PRD. Mr. Robertson related the background and history of the
development projects within the West Bastanchury PRD, south of the Vista Del Verde
(VDV) Development. The discussion included the PRD fee first proposed by staff and
originally collected from Compass Homes then later refunded, the benefits and cost split
of the upsized pipelines within these tracts and the on site and offsite backbone
transmission pipelines supporting the VDV Development. An agenda item is included in
this agenda packet for Board consideration regarding these matters.
