Present were John Summerfield, Mike Beverage, Bill Robertson and Ken Vecchiarelli. The following items were discussed: 1) Proposed Gravity Sewer through Muranaka Nursery. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported on staffs preliminary study determining the possibility of a gravity sewer alignment along the northerly property line of the Muranaka Nursery. 2) Bastanchury Booster Station and new reservoir. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported staff is prepared to recommend action on this project. The committee discussed matters related to the third above ground steel tank reservoir including aesthetic impacts on the surrounding developments. The Board will consider these action items at their regular meeting of November 14, 2002. 3) Addendum to Heritage Homes Sewer Service Agreement. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported on staff s proposed recommendation to have Heritage Homes construct one reach of the proposed Bastanchury Sewer Trunk near Lakeview Avenue. Staff proposes an addendum to the Sewer Service Agreement with Heritage for reimbursement of a portion of this reach that will serve the future Vista Del Verde Village 3 and 4 developments. The reimbursement would be administered in accordance with Resolution 100 conditions. The Board of Directors will consider this matter at a later date. 4) Pulte Homes Temporary Tank. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported on Pulte's request to initiate an agreement for construction and use of a temporary reservoir during continued construction of the permanent reservoir. This matter will be presented to the Board for consideration following CEQA compliance for the proposed tank. 5) Annexation Update. Mr. Robertson reported on meetings held with Irvine Ranch Water District, City of Anaheim and OCWD representatives considering a proposed concurrent annexation process to OCWD. Mr. Robertson reported on the CEQA process that would have to be considered by all parties. The committee discussed the matter briefly. 6) Other. No other items were discussed.
