Present were John Summerfield, Mike Beverage, Bill Robertson, Ken Vecchiarelli, Mr. Ron Muranaka and Mr. Richard Brown: 1) Proposed Gravity Sewer through Muranaka Nursery. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported on staffs research regarding the alignment option for the proposed gravity sewer along the northerly property line. The committee discussed the added costs for this alternative and staff agreed to meet with Mr. Muranaka on the property to discuss possible construction means and methods that would mitigate impact on the nursery business and future property development. Mr. Brown and Mr. Muranaka left the meeting after this discussion. 2) Richfield Plant Renovation. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported on the slow progress of the final landscaping and punch list items. The committee discussed the contractor's request for a partial retention release and the estimated date for occupancy. The Board is considering a progress payment at their regular meeting of November 14, 2002. 3) Annexation Update. Mr. Robertson reported on matters related to the annexation process into OCWD of the balance of the District's service area. Mr. Robertson reported on issues discussed at several meetings with the real parties of interest and the committee discussed the matter briefly. 4) Other. Mr. Vecchiarelli reported that staff is preparing to release a request for proposals for engineering services for the capital improvements related to the Pressure Zone Reconfiguration Project. Mr. Vecchiarelli also reported that Toll Brothers submitted closing documentation for water and sewer infrastructure in the Vista Del Verde development and a request for reimbursement for a portion of the 36-inch transmission pipeline from OC-51 to the MWD Deimer Access Road. The committee briefly discussed the status of the GIS Implementation Plan and other projects pending Board consideration.
