PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE
JULY 6, 2004
A meeting of the PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE was called to order by Commi
Chair Paul Armstrong at 4:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the District Headquarters, 4622
Plumosa Drive, Yorba Linda.

1. Central Yorba Linda Transmission Pipeline Droiect. The Committee reviewed public
outreach plan directed toward customers that will be affected by the project. The plan
includes walking the route and providing an information packet to residents and
businesses, and a public meeting to explain the project and address concerns
scheduled for July 22 at the Richfield Plant.
2. Review text of Water Lines newsletter. The Committee reviewed two stories for the
newsletter: A discussion of financial considerations related to water rates; and a
description of the Central Yorba Linda pipeline project.
3. Public Health Goal Report. The Committee reviewed the draft report. The final report will
be brought before the Board of Directors on July 22, and a public hearing will be scheduled
for August 26.
