A meeting of the PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE was called to order by Co
Chair Paul Armstrong at 4:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the District Headquarters, 4622
Plumosa Drive, Yorba Linda.

District Facilities Tour. The Committee reviewed plans for the tour scheduled for
Saturday, September 25t". Tour guests will meet at the Richfield Plant, enjoy a continental
breakfast, see the District's video, and visit the water quality laboratory, equipment
displays, well sites and the water production system control room. Guests will then board
a bus for visits to District reservoirs and other facilities, and the Santa Ana River
groundwater recharge operations.
2. Placentia Heritaae Davs Parade. The Committee reviewed plans to participate in this
event. The District will highlight the Fats, Oils and Grease sewer clog prevention program
by displaying the jet/vactor machine in the parade.
3. Yorba Linda Fiesta Davs Parade and Street Fair. The Committee reviewed plans to
participate in this event. The District will highlight the Fats, Oils and Grease prevention
program by displaying the jet/vactor machine in the parade. The District will also present
an information booth, including making ice water available, at the street fair.
4. 2004 Annual Report. The Committee reviewed plans for the publication of this year's
Annual Report. The report will include the District's new Mission and Vision Statements
and a section on the Fats, Oils and Grease sewer clog prevention program.
