YORBA LINDA WATER DISTRICT
BOARD OF DIRECTORS ADJOURNED MEETING
DISTRICT OPEN HOUSE AND 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
June 8, 1990
The adjourned meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District was
opened by Roy Knauft, Vice President, at 5:35 p.m., at the District Headquarters, 4622
Plumosa Drive, Yorba Linda. Directors present were: Paul Armstrong, Whit Cromwell
and Sterling Fox. Approximately 125 people attended the District's Open House and
30th Anniversary Celebration. Vice President Knauft presented a brief history of the
District and the Water Company as well as introducing the distinguished visitors.
General Manager William P. Workman presented remarks regarding the importance of
water to the community. Director Whit Cromwell described his feelings about the role of
the District in the community and bid farewell to Yorba Linda since he planned to move
to Hemet, California in the near future. The meeting ended at approximately 5:55 pm.
