BUILDING AD HOC COMMITTEE
December 20, 2007

A meeting of the Yorba Linda Water District Building Ad Hoc Committee was called to
order by John Summerfield at 4:00 pm. The meeting was held at District's Emergency
Operations Center, 913 Richfield Road, Placentia, CA.
DIRECTORS PRESENT STAFF PRESENT:
Michael J. Beverage Michael Payne, General Manager
John W. Summerfield Ken Vecchiarelli, Asst. General Manager
Pat Grady, IT Director
Hank Samaripa, Project Engineer
DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1. Discussed construction progress to date. March 26, 2008 projected contract
completion.
2. Reviewed Server Room change order request from Grant Construction and impact
to scheduled completion date.
3. Reviewed overall building project budget.
4. Reviewed the Knoll furniture proposal and critical path schedule.
5. Discussed several options for main entry dry creek. Committee proposed synthetic
sod and boulders at this time.
ACTION ITEMS:
6. Committee discussed recommendation to authorize Change Orders No. 6 and 7 for
the server room electrical upgrades and added telecommunications conduit.
7. Purchase order for furniture systems will appear on the Board of Directors Agenda
for December 27, 2007.
INFORMATION ITEMS:
8. Power poles relocated on Richfield Road except one pole with AT&T telephone
service.
9. Miraloma/Richfield Street improvement plans are currently out to bid by City of
Placentia. Start of construction delayed to February 2008.
ADJOURNMENT:
The committee adjourned at 5:45 pm. A meeting of the Building Ad Hoc Committee is
scheduled for January 17, 2008, 4:00 p.m. at the Richfield Plant EOC Room.
