Summerfield ALSO PRESENT: Don Gillis, Gillis & Associates Jack Panichapan, Gillis & Associates DISCUSSION ITEMS 1. Site drainage. STAFF Pj$ESENT: Michael Payne, General Manager Kenneth Vecchiarelli, Assistant GM William Moorhead, Sr. Project Engineer Mike Robinson, Assistant Admins Stacy Bavol, Customer Services Supervisor Sven Mermeiin, Meter Services Rep. Art Vega, Information Systems Admin. Onsite and offske options were discussed with respect to the drainage of storm water. The District staff is to meet with the architect's civil engineer to discuss the specifics of the various options. It was noted that any option would include an elevation of the base of the building that would prevent flooding or property damage. 2. Presentation of building exterior treatment , front entry, landscape and proposed water feature. Landscaping that would include xeriscape and possible dry creek channel, which would assist in percolation of storm water during a rain event, was reviewed. Potential water features were discussed that would be environmentally and fiscally responsible but still convey the basic role and function of the Water District. From the input and discussions among the ad hoc building committee the architect will provide a more detailed presentation of the building's front entry. 3. Building 2 Modifications. Modifications were discussed pertaining to Bldg. 2 in the operations and maintenance department. Some areas will be expanded and some moved to the warehouse building which will also undergo some modifications. These modifications are the result of the need to provide for the District's expanding level of service to its customers and the demands placed on staff. These modifications resulted from numerous meeting and structured input from staff in each department within the District. This effort is not part of the New Administration Building Project.
