The June 15, 2006 meeting of the Yorba Linda Water District Building Ad Hoc
Committee was called to order by Michael J. Beverage at 4:00 p.m. The meeting was
held at the District's Operations and Maintenance facilities located at 913 S. Richfield,
Placentia, CA.

DISCUSSION ITEMS
1. The architect provided a status update on the future Administrative Building project
including:
a) Action items necessary to comply with requirements from the City of
Placentia's Planning and Building Department The critical nature of the
City's Planning and Building Departments working "in parallel" to fast track
this project was also discussed.
b) Exterior colors and textures presented for committee and staff review with
selection made for presentation to the full board by District staff.
The Committee requested that the architect provide a proposal to have a specialty
estimating firm develop a detailed cost estimate of the project as it is now designed.
2. Staff discussed the various elements of the project that needed to be addressed
following the previous submission of plans to the City of Placentia.
3. Staff presented a critical path timeline to reach the goal of a groundbreaking for a
best case date of November 16, 2006. If complications are encountered with the
City of Placentia's Building and Planning Department responses, the next best
case available date would be December 14, 2006 for groundbreaking. A more
realistic goal of January 2007 was considered.
4. The committee expressed a desire to be more closely informed as to the progress
of this project with regular meetings to be scheduled for the 3`d Thursday of each
month unless otherwise noticed. The next meeting is scheduled for Thurs. July 20,
2006 at the Plumosa Offices.
